LOG REPAIR SERVICES - BLASTING AND SANDING
Hand Sanding, sandblasting and corn cob blasting are solutions
for existing homes. Have your deteriorated and ineffective
surfaces removed. Our skilled craftsmen are experienced in
sand blasting, sanding, stripping and re-staining.
Corn blasting is a finish removal system that combines high
volume compressed air with a special corncob blasting media.
It provides an easy, safe method of removing old finishes
from your log home leaving it clean, dry and ready for a fresh
coat of stain.
For tougher jobs when the old finish is thick or hard we
can use sand. Typically after using sand, we recommend sanding
the logs to help clean up any material that is left from blasting
process. Most old hard, dry paints tend to stick to the hard
grain of the wood and can only be removed by sanding.
